We ordered in Breakfast in our Clarions Hotel Room to get them started for the day Apparently I left the TV on!!

After breakfast is jumping on their King Size Bed time!  Brielle has an obsession with buttons. They HAVE to be buttoned up! Love that we are matching!!

Some random art exhibit

We took a morning walk around the water which was so relaxing!!

After our Thanksgiving Buffet Lunch!

For Canadian Thanksgiving we had actually booked to go to Waterton Lakes for a new adventure but sadly they had horrific fires and had an evacuation.  On our last trip to the Calgary Zoo we had come to the realization that they no longer had Dinosoars Alive and went to google to figure out where exactly they went! Brighton was especially concerned!  We were pleasantly surprised to learn they had moved to Winnipeg.  So we drove to Winnipeg!  It was a shorter drive and a shorter trip which worked out perfectly! We stayed at the Clarion Hotel which was mostly great!  The kids LOVED the water slide.  We LOVED the layout of the hotel rooms because the kids had their room essentially with closing doors which made for less distractions and more sleep!  The downside is that we were on the first floor literally beside the elevator and lobby and they were sold out for weddings and reunions.  People were congregating in the hallways and being SOO loud.  I was giving the stank face out my door here and there. I mean come one! Sleeping babies people!!

We ate Joeys, The original pancake house, a different hotel for a Thanksgiving brunch, Olive Garden, and all of the Starbucks.  We were SOOO close to the mall so we walked around for two afternoons browsing.  Brighton had no pants because he is sprouting like a weed!  We also walked along the water at Forks and explored their market place which to me was very reminiscent of Calgary.

I fit in a morning of a photo shoot for the blog along with a train track find that I have YET to edit.  I didn’t bother editing these either as way back in the day when I started this is what I did. Posted photos and little recaps so I would remember the little things.  Not everything has to be perfect.  A lesson I have to remind myself every single day!

We had a great time honestly! And looking forward to going back!
