Tights Tights Tights. The biggest lifesaver for a plethora of reasons. My number one is that they keep you warm! Fact: I often wear simple tights under jeans or pants so that I can wear a lighter coat!

Nothing can be more annoying than buying a pair of brand new tights and having them rip or tear before you even get to where you are going.  I am going to walk you through three simple things you can do to prolong the life of your tights!

1) Before putting your hands down the leg of the tights to scrunch them up around your toes….ladies take OFF your rings.  This prevents the possibility of them getting snagged or caught on something from the get go.

2) Make sure your toe nails are trimmed!  If you have daggers for toe nails or you are trying to squeeze your feet into a tight shoe, you can bet that the chances of them cutting through the tights are a good one.  Just quickly feel them for length if it’s been a while since your last pedi!

3) Hand Wash your tights. I feel like this one is slightly obvious but if you are one of those people who just love to throw everything in the wash and be done with it, hand washing your tights will not only save the integrity of the tight but it will make them last much longer.

I love these pair of Euro tights from a local Calgary Company.  I have been wearing them all week in fact!  They are tried and true even with my toddler and baby crawling all over me!
