March 4th was a full sunny day in Pompeii. If there is one place you have to see for yourself it’s this one. Completely preserverd civilization frozen in time for all to marvel.This was by far the most amazing experience to be able to walk through this city and there was so much to see! You pay 11 euros to walk for hours and really get to witness a civilization that was incredibly advanced for their time.
Their homes were set up a lot like homes today. Marble top kitchen counters, street signs, side walks, irrigation. I must have called Brendan in every room that I walked into!
After the day was over we hopped on a train to Salerno! The most beautiful town of them all!
