I’m Danelle, mother of a spirited two year old and a spunky little one year old. I am originally from Charleston, SC (where I met my husband) and moved to Calgary about four years ago now. For various reasons I have had the pleasure of moving around the world my whole life, all in which have provided different life experiences and challenges.

This is what motivated the beginning of Pretentiouspink.com (don’t worry it’s far from pretentious, it’s just the name of my favorite Dior lip liner), which has been a seven-year journey of journaling.
