Not In The Mood

 This past weekend was a huge milestone for us! My son turned two and we celebrated with the family.  The weather was just so beautiful.  I hope so badly that it sticks around as I desperately want to pack away my winter jackets, but know that it probably will snow again likely once or twice.  In the meantime I still aspire to stay on trend with spring looks, but in a way that is fitting for where I live.  When I was in California I would be prouncing around in a little floral romper or something white with lace for Easter…but in Caaaanada it’s just not that simple.

I am taking all the guess work out of it for you with this look.  Pairing this white blazer with a graphic Tee makes this look very light and fresh.  I paired it with a cream bucket bag that are so on trend right now. To add a touch of edge I wore a pair of textured tights from a local Calgary company (Time for Tights) under my ripped skinny jeans for a light layer.  You can really play this up or down with the right accessories.
